According to reports, Arsenal have suffered another major set-back against today’s clash against Manchester City.
Arsene Wenger confirmed injured England international Danny Welbeck won’t be expected back in action this Christmas as expected.
“He is still not available because of a bone bruising,” Wenger said. “That deteriorated and it is a big blow to us because we cannot rotate.”
Wenger confirmed the 25-year-old won’t be back until February this report comes as a major blow as the Gunners will continue the second phase of the Champions League being drawn with Spanish Champions Barcelona.
Welbeck has been out since April after undergoing knee surgery; he was expected back in action in September but it was later revised till Christmas and now February.
