Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly sent scouts to the game between Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United on Tuesday night according to Yorkshire Evening post. It has been claimed by the newspaper that the objective of both North London Club scouts in attendance was to watch Leicester City on loan player Ben Chiwell representing Huddersfield Town.
Arsenal have reportedly had a bid rejected for the youngster and are trying to come back with a better offer in the January transfer window. The youngster won Leicester City’s academy player of the year award at the end of the 2014/15 season after featuring for new manager, Claudio Ranieri’s side during pre –season and was given the number 30 jersey ahead of this season.
A host of top Premier league side have been linked with the talented young defender; Manchester United, Liverpool, spurs and Arsenal are all said to be keenly interested in the youngster. Liverpool seem to have the best chance of landing Chiwell due to the link between the Terriers manager, David Wagner; who was a former colleague to current Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp while at Borussia Dortmund
