Reports suggest that Kamel Bengougam who is the agent of Leicester City wing wizard, Rihad Mahrez has confirmed that his player will not be leaving the Foxes in January despite being linked to big premier league sides, according to SkySports.
The Algerian winger has been in sensational form for Leicester City this season with 7 assist and 13 goals to his credit and it’s not mid-season yet.
The Daily Express has linked the winger with a move to either Arsenal or Manchester United with his agent confirming that no bid has been put in place for his client, who has made it clear that he intends to stay on at the King Power Stadium beyond this season.
Mahrez is now an integral member of the Leicester team, forming great understanding with leading English Premier League goal scorer Jamie Vardy to tear opposition defence apart after joining the Foxes from French side Le Havre in January 2014. He is contracted to Leicester City till 2018-19 season after only recently signing a contract extension.
The 24 year Old Algerian has pace, he is skilful, offer assist to team mates and he is good at finishing off moves; he would be a valid addition to either United or Arsenal but it looks highly unlikely that the winger would make a switch in January; may be a deal in the summer could be on the cards.
