Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of
the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
Arsenal are desperate to sign Celta Vigo forward Noilto, and are doing all they can to beat Barcelona to the forward, with reports that they have gone as far as offering Costa Rican winger Joel Campbell in order to push the deal through.
Arsenal were reported to have initially held talks with Celta earlier this month, and later reports of Nolito wanting to sign a new deal meant the initial talks wasn’t successful, but Arsenal are showing more seriousness by offering Joel Campbell in a bid to convince Celta Vigo to sell them in-form striker.
Joel Campbell 23, has recently broken into the starting line-up and has been impressive in recent weeks, but it seems Wenger is so desperate to land Nolito that he is willing to sacrifice the youngster for the experienced striker.
Nolito, 29, who was a former Barcelona academy player, has scored 7 times in 10 appearances this season in what has been wonderful season on his return to his hometown club where he started his career.
Arsenal fans might not be happy seeing a 23-year-old with huge potentials sacrificed for a 29-year-old, but his performances will decide.
