Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club
linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks
According to the Metro, Agent of Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne has said he will hold talks with Napoli before the transfer window officially opens in January as Arsenal eye a move for his client.
Insigne’s agent, however, claim his clinet wants to stay at Napoli till the end of the season.
“We enjoy the interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal,” Insigne’s representative told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“We’re talking about two clubs at the top of world football, but Lorenzo is focused on Napoli and his personal and team objectives.
“He’s wearing the shirt he dreamed of wearing as a child, and he’ll give his all to bring great satisfaction to the fans.”
The 24-year-old has scored seven times for the Serie A giants while providing five assists in a very impressive season.
Italian international Insigne has found game-time hard to come by under manager Maurizio Sarri, and reports believes the Arsenal target could exit the club if he fails to reach a compromise with the club over more game-time for the 24-year-old.
