Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola has confirmed that there are offers for his clients from the premier league and also admitted he’d love to see the Big Swede play in the premier league before he retires, according to the Squawka.
The Gunners have been linked with a move to sign the 34 year old and the North London club could be boosted by the comments of the super agent regarding his client’s future.
Speaking to reporters Raiola said:
“I would like to see him in the Premier League,” Raiola said.
“I think it’s a game that is made for him with his strength. his ability, his technique, the stadiums with fantastic atmosphere and how football is lived,”
“It’s difficult now because for the first time in his life he wants to be a free agent so that he can look around and have a feeling day by day what he wants to do.
“There are a lot of projects on our table but he has not decided yet. Can he go to England? In theory yes he can because he will be a free agent and for sure there are some clubs always interested in him. What we will do at the end, I really don’t know.”
Earlier in the season, it was claimed that the Big swede has set his sights on a move to the Emirates when his deal at PSG expires at the end of the season, as per the Mirror.
Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with the striker and should the 34 year old declare his interest in moving to the premier league next summer, it could spark a transfer bidding war between top clubs in the premier league.
