Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
Arsenal have decided to recall back highly rated midfielder Serge Gnabry from his loan spell at West Brom, according to the Telegraph.
The midfielder joined the Baggies last summer on a season long loan but the North London club is set to cut short the loan spell after the midfielder failed to impress at the Hawthorns.
West Brom’s manager Tony Pulis have not been impressed with the Germany U21 international and publicly claimed the loanee was not good enough to play at the level of the premier league.
Gnabry has featured just once for the Baggies in the league this season and the Gunners have now activated the recall clause in the player’s loan agreement, according to the Telegraph.
The report claims the Gunners will likely send him out on loan again as they currently have enough quality in the player’s position at the Emirates.
Lots of Championship club’s are interested in taking the midfielder on loan for the remainder of the season and Gnabry could be allowed to move to a lower league in order to get more playing time.
