Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
Arsenal target Grzegorz Krychowiak has revealed that he is aware of Arsenal’s interest and has left the door open for a future move to the Emirates, as per Standard Sport.
The midfielder was reportedly one of the players on Arsene Wenger’s wishlist to replace injured Coquelin but the Gunners moved for FC Basel’s Mohamed Elneny who is set to complete a move to the Emirates in the coming days.
The midfielder is currently an important member of Sevilla’s starting xi. He says he is enjoying life in La Liga and his agent is the one solely responsible for issues concerning his future.
“The Premier League? Some say it’s the best in the world, other people think that’s La Liga.
“I’ve heard about Arsenal, but I leave it to my agent,” he said.
“I trust him and he’s the one who deals with that kind of the stuff. I can’t think about things like that.
“I have to keep my mind free of any distraction and just focus on doing my job for Sevilla.”
“I definitely want to be a better player, but it will only happen when the team does well.
“There are a million things I can still improve,”
“The moment I start thinking that I’m a finished product as a player will be the moment I start regressing.
“I believe I can be a much better, more complete player at the end of 2016.”
According to IBtimes, The player recently signed a new contract with his current club and he is valued at £32.2m. A fee the Gunners must meet should they make a concrete offer to sign the midfield enforcer.
