Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
Arsenal have been told that they can sign Borussia Dortmund striker for £60m, ( $87.12M ) according to Metro.
Arsene Wenger is reportedly interested in signing a striker this winter transfer window and has been linked with a couple of them including Bayer Leverkusen’s Javier Hernandez and Troy Deeney of Watford
The Gunners have also been linked with a move to sign BVB striker Aubameyang and the North London club have reportedly tabled a fee of £44.6m to sign the striker.
But, the Daily Mail now claims the Gunners have been made aware that BVB will only sell the player for £60m.
Arsene Wenger is a big fan of the striker and has been following him since his days at St Etienne but it remains to be seen if the Gunners will pay as much as £60m for his services.
It would be very difficult for the Gunners to sign the 26 year old as he just renewed his contract last summer that will keep him at the Signal Iduma park until 2020 but the German club might be tempted to sell for £60m.
The striker is currently having a superb season in Germany and has scored 27 goals in 27 games for Thomas Tuchel’s men.
