Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
According to reports, They suggest Arsenal are on the verge of announcing their first signing today.
Mohamed Elneny is expected to be unveiled today after passing medicals and has agreed a long-term contract with the Gunners.
The 23-year-old Egyptian international signed a £65,000-a-week deal with the Gunners in a four-and-a-half year deal.
However the report claims the Gunners have sorted out his work permit and Arsene Wenger has admitted they have successfully signed him.
He said: “We hope to announce a player in the next 24 to 48 hours.
“I don’t need to tell you the name. After that we will see [about other deals].”
