Arsenal are prepared to receive £2 Million from Wolves from the proceeds in the sales of Benik Afobe to Bournemouth for £10 Million in this transfer window, according to reports.
The England Under-21 was a Gunner academy player before he was sold to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2015 after failing to get a shot at first team appearance at the Emirates.
The 22 year old striker has joined premier league side Bournemouth on a fee reported to be in the region of £10 Million. Bournemouth needed another striker after their top striker Callum Wilson was side-lined for up to 6 months after scans revealed he suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
Arsene Wenger was said to have high hopes for Afobe during his time at the Emirates but he is pleased that the former Gunner is now finally having a shot at Premier League experienced and more importantly the Gunners would be banking a cool £2 Million from the sales.
