Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
Arsenal have made a move to sign Mauricio Brozovic by approaching his parent club, Dinamo Zagreb with a £12 Million bid for the Croatians signature.
Brozovic is currently on loan at Inter Milan with the Italian outfit having the option of signing the player permanently when his loan spell expires.
The fee for securing the 23 year old permanently for Inter Milan is put at £3.5 Million.
Inter Milan boss has stated his desire to keep Brozovic at the San Siro despite interest from Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal; But it is the Gunners who have reportedly made a move to sign the Croatian international by approaching Dinamo Zagreb for his services.
Arsenal are concentrating on strengthening their midfield options with injuries to Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere etc.
The Gunner are said to have completed the signing of Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny and they are still keen on bringing Brozovic to the Emirates Stadium ahead of their London Rivals.
Brozovic’s agent; Miroslav Bicancic has reiterated that there are lots of interest for his client’s signature and that there is a possibility of him making a transfer this week but he stressed that his client won’t be coming cheap.
