Arsenal French right back, Mathieu Debuchy is keen on a move to Italian side AS Roma in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Daily Star reveals that Debuchy would prefer a loan deal to AS Roma despite interest from Premier League side Aston Villa who are routed to the bottom of the Premier League log.
Debuchy is keen on exiting the Emirates and Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger has decided not to block any move for the experienced right back.
The 30 year old was out injured for a long time and Bellarin has done fantastically well in Debuchy’s absence and it would be difficult for the French man to clinch back that right back spot; so a move away would be his best option as he needs to get more playing time to boost his chances of representing France in the European Championships being hosted by him homeland in 2016.
Debuchy join the Gunners from Newcastle United for £10 Million after the experienced defender stayed with the Magpies for just 18 months, making 46 appearances for the St James Club before making the switch to the Emirates
. He is not short of suitors as Olympique Lyon, Paris St. Germain, West Brom, Aston Viila and AS Roma has been linked with a move for the player.
