Fresh: Wenger Reveals Deal For 2nd Signing After Stoke Result

Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.

Arsene Wenger may have done his last and only piece of business in the January transfer window as report suggest that Arsenal won’t bring any more new arrivals to the Emirates.

The Gunners have finally completed the signing of Egyptian Midfielder Mohamed Elneny from Basel after initially waiting for international clearance and work permit.

Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere and Francis Coquelin are reportedly weeks away from making a return to first team action.

Wenger is hoping to have more first team players back from injury as he has reportedly poured cold water  on a move for a new centre forward after being linked to several of the world’s best attackers.

Borussia Dortmund striker, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang featured prominently on the list of strikers linked with a move to the Emirates but the newly crowned African Footballer of the year has reiterated his stance to remain with the Bundesliga side.

Other attackers linked to the Gunners include former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez and Edinson Cavani of Paris St. Germain.
