Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
Manchester United are reportedly ready to end Arsenal’s interest in Paris St. Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports.
The German Side have placed a £21 Million evaluation on the 20 year old French midfielder which the Gunners have refused to meet, but the Red Devils are ready to match the evaluation and bring the youngster to Old Trafford with a further guarantee of a regular staring position in the heart of United midfield; something Rabiot is seriously craving for in a bid to make the French team for the summer European Championship in France.
It was earlier reported that Rabiot’s agent/ mother; Veronique flew to London to meet with Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal board over a possible switch of Rabiot to the Emirates with no details of the meeting being released to the press, but it is now clear that the meeting wasn’t a success as Rabiot is still with the French giants while the Gunners have completed the signing of Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel and are looking elsewhere with Rabiot’s interest seemingly gone cold in the past weeks.
Spanish magazine, Don Balon has said that Louis Van Gaal is ready to bring Rabiot to the Theatre of Dreams, he needs pace and creativity and the French man can provide United with both.
