Arsenal are on the lookout for top quality players in the second phase of the season.
According to reports making the round, the Arsenal officially announced Danielle Carter has put pen to paper to sign a contract extension with the Arsenal Ladies.
The deal was announced on Arsenal official website for the regular who has featured in 40 of a possible 42 league games over the past three seasons for the Gunners and scoring a remarkable 12 goals in all competition.
The 22-year-old forward made her senior England debut in a Euro 2017 qualifier against Estonia in September and scored a hat-trick in an 8-0 victory.
The powerful forward has won 11 trophies during her six-year spell with the Arsenal ladies, including last season’s Continental Cup.
“To add another two years on to my contract is great,” she told Arsenal Player. “It’s a pleasure to still be at Arsenal and continue to progress with this club.
“Since I’ve been here, we have always won trophies, whether it’s the Continental Cup, FA Cup or the league.
“We just want to win as many trophies as possible. I’m definitely going to keep striving to avoid being trophyless while I’m here.
“I have won 11 trophies which is fantastic, but that’s all in the past now. In the near future, this season we want to win the Women’s Super League, qualify for the Champions League, do well in the FA Cup and Continental Cup.
“We want to be up there competing for all the trophies on offers.”
