Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
Hull City are interested in signing Arsenal’s midfielder Isaac Hayden, according to the Hull Daily Mail.
The midfielder joined Hull City last summer on a season long loan but failed to impress at the Championship side at the beginning of the current campaign and it was reported that the midfielder was set to return to the Emirates this winter.
His proposed move to Fulham fell through and he subsequently remained with the Tigers.
After his superb performance last week against Charlton Athletic when he scored one of Hull City’s goal, Hull City boss Steve Bruce revealed that the club would be interested in keeping the midfielder on a permanent deal.
“I desperately want to hang on to him and when he produces a performance like that I’m desperate to keep hold of him,” Bruce told the BBC.
“I would love to make it permanent because he’s another good young player who we think has a big future. We’ve not made any offer just yet and it all depends on what the boy wants to do. But I’ve made it pretty clear to him that if I could I would make it permanent.”
The midfielder has scored 11 goals for the tigers and has scored just one goal.
