Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
Dynamo Kiev forward Andriy Yarmolenko is the latest forward being linked with a move to the Emirates, according to reports.
Arsenal will have to face strong competition from Everton, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund are other club sides interested in the forward who has scored 13 times in 22 games this season already.
According to Metro, Arsenal are set to make a cash over to sign Yarmolenko ahead of competition. The forward is contracted to Dynamo Kiev till 2020 and it is looking like a deal in January would not be possible but a move in the summer looks likely to happen.
Gunners have been in a hunt to add to their strike force, with Olivier Giroud being heavily rely on for the goals which he has fairly delivered for the team. Javier Hernandez, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Alvaro Morata etc. are some of the strikers that has been linked with a move to the Emirates this recent weeks; but it looks like Wenger would wait to have Danny Welbeck back in couple of weeks then chase Yarmolenko in the summer.
The 26 year old Ukrainian is a left footed player that can play on either flanks or as a main striker. He joined Dynamo Kiev from Ukrainian side Desna in 2007 before breaking into the Dynamo Kiev main team since 2008.
