Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
Arsenal looks like they are not through with signing new faces in the January transfer window, the Gunners has Mohamed Elneny as the only new signing so far in this January transfer window.
The Gunners have been linked with a host of midfielders all around Europe with players like William Carvalho, Ruben Neves, Adrien Rabiot, Victor Wanyama and now they have now been linked to Swiss international Granit Xhaka, who happen to be the skipper of Borussia Monchengladbach.
According to Daily Star, Arsene Wenger revealed that Arsenal would only strike if an exceptional case arises. Wenger said you will certainly over the next ten days have some work to do, not especially with Arsenal. We are always open to the exceptional cases. At the moment I expect our last ten days [of the transfer window] to be quiet.
Arsenal would love to bring in one more forward player as they are constantly being linked to Celta Vigo striker Nolito, who is also being tracked by his former team FC Barcelona. Obviously, the Gunners need one more midfielder after signing Mohamed Elneny who has no Premier League experience with the League already entering its crucial stage.
