Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
Arsenal move for Nigeria duo of Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze is reportedly close to completion as a fee of £4 Million is already agreed with the player’s agency.
According to reports, the Premier League giants swoop for the pair has been agreed and is just waiting formal clearance before being completed. The source said that the Gunners have sealed a £4 Million deal for Nwakali and Chukwueze after their bid was accepted by the players academy in Nigeria.
A source close to football insider revealed earlier last week that the Gunners were in advanced talks to recruit wonder-kids Nwakali and Chukwueze to their academy. Work permit and visas to play in the UK, although the Gunners are hopeful they will be In place by the end of next week.
Nwakali was the captain of the Nigerian Under- 17 side that conquered the world to lift the Under-17 world cup in Chile while Chukwueze was also instrumental in the team’s success from the wings. The pair would add more quality to the Gunners academy and are seen as a star for the future.
