Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
Arsenal are already lining up Petr Cech’s successor at Arsenal as reports indicate that the Gunners are planning on making a move for Athletic Bilbao young Spanish goalkeeper who is currently on loan at Real Valladolid.
Arsenal have two other back up goalkeepers ready to take over from Petr Cech once he retires from the Emirates or should he drop form but the duo of David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny are not patient enough as Szczesny is already out on loan at Italian outfit AS Roma while Ospina is reportedly pushing to go out on loan in the January transfer window.
Cech has been in outstanding form for the Gunners since joining from Premier League rivals Chelsea for £10 Million in the summer. Although he started rather unconvincingly for the Gunners against West Ham, he has found his feet and has gone on to put up series of impressive performance to keep Arsenal in the chase for their first Premier League title in 12 years.
According to METRO, the French man is a fan of the Spaniard, who has been on loan at Real Valladolid this season. Athletic Bilbao also see Kepa as a long term option but are concerned about losing him if Arsenal make a move.
