Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to submit an offer for Dynamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko. The Russian has emerged as one of the top targets for the Gunners boss as he continues his search in a bid to improve squad in what yet promises to be a very successful season.
Transfermarketweb via the Metro reports that the Gunners are set to make an offer soon to bring him to the Emirates Stadium. The 26-year-old has hugely been impressive this season and produced some eye catching performances in his outstanding showings in the Champions league this season .
The tricky winger is left footed but predominantly plays on the right side and is renowned for coming infield cutting onto his dominant foot before having a crack at goal or picking a pass. He has so far scored 13 goals in 22 games already this term.
Due to his lanky frame, Wenger was believed to have had concerns about his ability to adapt to the overly physical Premier league, but such fears have been removed with the player’s performances in European football against Everton last season and Chelsea this year.
Yarmolenko is understandably highly sought after and Wenger would have to act quickly to nab him ahead of his rivals, Everton having been on the receiving end are understandably interested. They are joined by Borussia Dortmund and La Liga champions Barcelona in showing an interest in the player in recent months.
