Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
Arsenal have been linked to Juventus striker Alvaro Morata all through this transfer window with Juventus refusing to sell the Spaniard and the Italian outfit Sporting director stating that Morata is valued at Juventus.
But according to METRO, Arsenal have made an approach to sign Alvaro Morata from Juventus before the close of the transfer window. Morata has been in and out of the Juventus team this season and has been subject of intense speculation over his future in recent days.
TALKSPORT reports that Arsenal and Tottenham have expressed an interest in snapping up Juventus star Alvaro Morata before the transfer window closes next month.
Arsenal depends on Olivier Giroud for the goals though news broke that Danny Welbeck is back training with the squad and should be back in the starting line up within weeks. Tottenham look up to Harry Kane as he is the only striker at the club after Roberto Soldado joined Spanish side Villarreal in the summer.
Morata is looking for a move away as he has now found playing time limited due to the form of Argentine goal machine Paulo Dybala who joined the Turin giants in the summer after the departure of Carlos Tevez and the arrival of Mario Mandzukic made playing difficult for the 23 year old striker.
