Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
Arsenal boss is reportedly blocking every move linking Colombian international shot stopper with a move away from the Emirates.
According to The Sun, David Ospina wants to join Turkish giants Besiktas on loan this month but has been told he can’t leave Arsenal. Ospina was keen on joining Besiktas, where he feels almost certain he will be first choice. But Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has dismissed any potential deal as he needs a replacement should Petr Cech get injured.
The Gunners won’t allow David Ospina to leave the Emirates with the other potential replacement; Wojciech Szczesny already out on loan to Italian outfit AS Roma. The Gunners would have to call back Szczesny from his loan spell in order for Ospina to make the move away from the Emirates.
According to the DailyStar , the shot stopper hinted that his future lies with Besiktas when liking a number of tweets from fans asking him to join in December.
The 27 years old has not featured for the Gunners since making a costly mistake in the 3-2 Champions League defeat to Olympiakos in September at the Emirates, but Wenger backs Ospina to one day replace Petr Cech as Arsenal’s first choice goalkeeper.
