Despite the recent close of the transfer window, players are still continually linked with making moves to the Emirates.
It doesn’t even stop at that as the Gunners have now been offered an outright chance to land a future star. Arsenal have been offered the chance to work with Chilean youngster Marcelo Allende, who has been dubbed the new Alexis Sanchez despite playing in a deeper midfield role back in his homeland.
AS via the Metro reports that the Gunners are very interested in Allende and a representative of the Chile Under-17 star stated discussions may take place over a possible move to north London.
The teenage prodigy currently plies his trade at at Cobreloa which happens to also be the former club of Alexis Sanchez.
Allende’s representative Christian Ogalde has suggested that Arsenal will be offered the chance to take the youngster on trial.
“I have a relationship with many European clubs including Arsenal and, another club, so if tomorrow there are options, we’ll talk,” he told AS.
“Arsenal is a great training club and we would be interested in working with them if they give us the possibility to.”
