Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez will sit down and discuss terms of a new contract with the Gunners at the end of the season and would want assurances if he is to stay at the Emirates, according to the reports.
The Sun via the Daily Star claims Sanchez have asked two things from the Gunner’s hierarchy before he will sign a new deal.
It is believed that the Chile international is interested in knowing the North London’s future plans and will also demand as much as £160,000 a week salary.
The winger currently earns about £130,000 a week and should the Gunner’s agree to his term, Sanchez would receive a pay rise as high as £30,000 per week.
Although the player has not revealed that he is unhappy at the Emirates rather it is believed that he is enjoying his football but he is keen to make the right decision as this could be his last big offer in his career.
The Gunners are reportedly interested in securing all its first team players who are not yet thirty years of age to a new contract. Monreal recently signed a new contract with Ozil and now Sanchez set to follow suit.
Sanchez has scored 35 goals in 75 appearances since joining the Gunners from Barcelona in 2014 in a deal worth up to £32m.
