AS Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczeny has slammed the media over reports claiming the Italian club won’t be extending his loan spell beyond the current campaign and also reports linking him with a move to Everton.
The goalkeeper left the Emirates after Cech signed for the Gunners in August as The Polish international wasn’t interested in playing second fiddle to Petr Cech.
It is now being reported that the Italian club have already signed Brazilian goalkeeper Allison who plies his trade at Internacional in Brazil as replacement for Szczesny
It was claimed Roma had the option to extend Szczeny’s loan spell but couldn’t agree a fee with Arsenal.
Szczeny has now moved to slam the media over those reports and accused the media of contradicting themselves in their “rubbish reporting”, according to goal.
“Gotta love the media,” he posted on Facebook. “Reporting on 3 completely diiferent stories regarding my future in a space of 24 hours, saying there’s been a ‘change of heart’, ‘U-turn’ and ‘turnaround’.
“The only U-turn there’s ever been is in your rubish [sic] reporting skills. #rubishatyourjob
“From Rome, with love, Wojciech.”
Szczeny joined Roma last summer and has played 20 Serie A games for the Italian side this season.
