Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi has been branded the “perfect footballer” by Gunners academy coach Andries Jonker, according to Standard Sport.
The midfielder who recently made the step up to the Gunners first team has receied praises from Arsene Wenger and now the Gunners academy coach Jonker has followed suit.
According to Jonker, Iwobi has both the talent and determination needed by a footballer to succeed at the top level.
Iwobi has been involved in four of the Gunners Premier league games although from the bench, he has also been involved in the FA cup as well as Capital One cup and Jonker believes should he continue to be determined, Iwobi will definitely be a success at the Emirates.
“Every now and then we have had players who have attracted attention but I think the one who has succeeded most is Alex Iwobi, who is with the first team now,” he told Arsenal’s official website.
“Alex is incredibly motivated, dedicated, willing to work and open to listening. He is always trying to improve himself.
“That makes him a perfect player because, with the talent he has already, he can continue to develop.
“That’s what’s happening at the moment. He played at home against Bayern Munich, made two very nice goals and was great for the team.
“Since then we haven’t seen him because he’s with the first team and that’s what it’s all about.”
