Arsenal have been handed a major summer transfer boost in their bid to finally land star target to solve a key position in Arsene Wenger team this term.
Arsenal had reportedly made move to sign Schalke’s starlet Leroy Sane in the January transfer window by placing a bid of £20.9 Million ( €27.29M ).
Sane is said to be one of the hottest properties in Europe at the moment with a host of European heavyweights scrambling to secure his service.
Reports claim Arsenal moved to secure his signature ahead of other interested clubs; The bid would be rejected by Schalke who are not prepared to cash in on their prized asset
However, Mundo Deportivo reports Arsenal will be able to seal a deal for the 20-year-old in summer for a reported fee of £28.9million.
His impressive performance has attracted the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are all also interested in signing Sane and this could play in Schalke’s favour as they would use these interests to get the best deal from Sane.
