Arsenal star admits he is heartbroken after injury setback

The Gunners currently have 5 players out injured as they set to take on Hull City on Saturday in the FA Cup tie.

Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky has revealed he has been left heart broken by his latest injury setback.

The talented Midfielder has only fixture ones for the Gunners this season as he was part of Arsene Wenger’s squad which defeated Burnley 2-1 in the fourth round of the FA Cup in January.

Rosicky told the Arsenal Weekly podcast: “It was unbelievable. I didn’t expect it.

“Since the moment I started to warm up it was exceptional and honestly I had tears in my eyes. After such a long time that I was out I started to warm up and the reception was unbelievable, I will never forget it.

“Obviously the worst thing is the feeling that I can’t give anything back at the moment – it’s frustrating.

“My relationship with the fans after 10 years was always great. I always played my heart out for them, they appreciated me and I appreciated them. It’s heartbreaking that I can’t give them anything back after the reception they prepared for me.

“But in life things will be thrown at you and you have to deal with it. You are defined by how you will deal with those things and I will deal with it. I will be back again.

“For a few days it was very hard for me to accept. I don’t know what more I could have done.

“But I have always come back from everything and I will come back again. I will not give up. Once more I have to find the strength to make it.”
