Arsenal will try everything possible to sign Gonzalo Higuain next summer, according to reports.

The Gunners have been linked with a move to sign the striker since he was at Real Madrid and despite losing out on his signature to Napoli, Wenger is still determined to bring the Argentine interntional to the Emirates.

According to Spanish publication Fichajes via the Metro, Arsenal will submit a mouth watering bid for Higuain next summer and the North London club will do everything possible to sign the Argentine hitman.

However, it isn’t going to be an easy task for the Gunners as the serie A club have said numerous times they aren’t interested in selling the striker with his agent also confirming he will not leave Napoli.

“We have a contract and there’s no chance of playing elsewhere, but we can’t think about the Champions League now, but just about playing every game,” Higuain told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, as quoted on talkSPORT.

Chelsea are also reportedly interested in Higuain as the West London club wants him to replace Diego Costa should the Spaniard return to Atletico Madrid but with the lure of Champions League football, Arsenal would be favorites to sign the striker ahead of Chelsea.

Higuain already has 24 goals in 26 appearances for Napoli this season and he is valued at a fee of about £70.5m.
