Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has urged Arsenal to sign Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Gunners have been linked with a move to sign a top striker ahead of next season and many big names including Aubameyang, Benzema and Higuain has been linked with a move to the Emirates.
However former Manchester United defender says the Gunners should move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic as he feels the Big Swede will be a perfect fit for the Gunners.
Ibrahimovic, 34, helped PSG dump London rivals Chelsea out of the Champions League and Ferdinand believes the Gunners should move for the 34 year old in the summer.
Ibrahimovic’s future is currently up in the air as his contract at PSG expires this season. The striker has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks but he remained coy about his move to England when he was quizzed about his future on Monday.
Ferdinand believes should the striker move to the Emirates, he will bring a winning mentality to the squad.
“Arsenal. He would give them that winning mentality. He can be the catalyst to winning things because that’s what he does,” Ferdinand told BT Sport, as quoted Ibitimes.
“This game was decided by clinical play and he [Ibrahimovic] was at the centre of that. He basically ended the tie. He showed today that even at 34, English clubs should be looking at him as a free transfer.”
Ibrahimovic has 32 goals for PSG in all competitions this season.
