Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has urged Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to snub a move to the Emirates in favour of West Ham.
Ibrahimovic is in the last year of his contract at PSG and has been linked with a move to Premier League. The striker recently confirmed Premier League clubs have contacted him over a move this summer. Although he is yet to make a decision regarding his future, Ian Wright believes the striker will be better of moving to West Ham.
Wright believes Ibrahimovic and West Ham playmaker Dimitri Payet will form a deadly partnership at the club.
“I think it would be better for him and it would be great for a player of that calibre,” Wright told The Sun, as quoted by London24.
“For him to go to those clubs, we know what Man Utd will do. But Zlatan could go to a club like West Ham and revolutionise it with that blast like Di Canio gave them.
“They love that kind of player. With Payet and the other players around him, a player like Zlatan could really blast West Ham up to that next level.”
Ibrahimovic has 27 league goals to his name this season and we are of the believe that the Swede international will be better of along side the likes of Ozil and Sanchez.
