Arsene Wenger has made signing Juventus striker Alvaro Morata his priority this summer, according to reports.
The Gunners have been linked with a number of top strikers ahead of next season as Wenger prepares to improve the squad.
The names of world class strikers like Ibrahimovic, Aubameyang, Cavani, and Higuain have been linked with a move to the Emirates but the latest reports coming out of Italy have linked Arsenal with a move for Spanish sensation Morata.
According to the Telegraph via Ibtimes, Arsenal may find it a bit complicated to sign the striker as Real Madrid are willing to activate the buy-back clause inserted in the deal that took him to Juventus and sell him to another club for a large profit.
It is believed that Madrid are not prepared to sell him for anything less than £30m and could also decide to keep him should he impress in the European championships this summer.
The striker is said to be mulling over a move back to Madrid as he is not prepared to playback to up to anyone.
Arsenal are now prepared to take advantage of the striker’s situation and Wenger has reportedly informed the players camp that he is prepared to sign the striker.
Morata has scored six goals for the Serie A giants this season.
