Arsenal Legend Gilberto Silva has revealed he would love to return to the Emirates in the future.

Silva was a fan favourite at the club between 2002 and 2008 with his committed displays winning the hearts of the fans and club.

The midfielder retired from active football last year and is already working on taking up a football related role in the future.

When questioned about life as a retired footballer and his plans for the future by Insidefutbol, Silva revealed he is doing a course on management which would help him take up a role as a sporting director in the future.

The midfielder also talked up the chance of returning to Arsenal. Though he said he is yet to receive an invitation from the club, he still loves the club till date.

“I follow football and I am trying to find a way to be involved. I am studying a course of general management to prepare myself.

“I want to be prepared if I decide to one day return to football as sport director or in another role. That will help me a lot” , he added.

“You never know, anything can be possible. I haven’t received an invitation at the moment, but if one day I get an. invitation I will think carefully, because Arsenal is a team I really love” , Silva said.

Silva was part of the invincibles squad that won the Gunner’s last league title in 2003/2004 season.
