Arsenal duo Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs are prepared to fight for their futures at Arsenal amid reports linking them with a move away from the club.
Recent reports claim Wenger is prepared to reshape his squad and is looking to sell a number of British players including Chamberlain and Gibbs this summer.
Chamberlain is reportedly a target of more than one-quarter of the Premier League clubs with Southampton, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and West Ham all interested in the 22-year-old winger.
Kieran Gibbs has been linked with a move away from the club with reports claiming the full back is in search of regular first-team football and is unwilling to continue as back up to Nacho Monreal.
But according to the London evening Standard via the Daily Express, the duo are reluctant to leave the Emirates this summer, both players still have two years left in their current deals and they are willing to fight hard to force their way into Wenger’s first team plans.
The report also added that the club is expected to hold talks with both players regarding a contract extension.
Chamberlain is currently undergoing rehabilitation for the Knee injury he sustained against Barcelona in February and is expected to return to full fitness before the end of the season.
