Bayern Munich have contacted Arsenal as regards signing star player Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.
Sanchez has been linked with a move away from the Emirates despite insisting he is happy at the club, first it was Real Madrid and then Juventus and now Bayern Munich.
According to the Daily Mirror via the Daily Express, Bayern Munich have made discrete enquiries about the winger. The German club wants to know whether Arsenal would be willing to sign the winger this summer.
Previous reports claimed incoming Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti has made signing Sanchez a top priority.
The former Madrid boss is set to replace Guardiola at Bayern Munich this summer and is said to be looking for reinforcements on the wings. It is believed that the Italian has concerns about Ribery and Robben, therefore he is keen on signing a quality winger before the season starts.
Alexis Sanchez currently has two years left on his deal at Arsenal and the club are prepared to offer the Chile international a new deal this summer. Wenger has previously revealed the winger will sign a new deal at the club and Bayern Munich are set to get a negative response to their recent enquiry.
