Arsenal Legend Thierry Henry is set to return to the Emirates in a coaching role at the end of the season, according to the Mirror.
The French man completed his Uefa coaching A license in March under the supervision of the Welsh FA and he is now set to become the new number 2 man in charge of the Under 18’s squad next season.
Following the departure of current U18 boss Frans de Kat, Kwame Ampadu will take over as the youth team boss while Thierry Henry will act as his assistant.
Henry has experience working with the youngsters as he worked with the youth team during the season while he attempted to complete his coaching A license.
However, it was suggested that the Welsh FA helped fast-tracked his studies because of his status in football. Former Swansea player Will Fowley revealed this in March.
He said: “There was no way humanly possible Thierry had even completed his UEFA B licence and could have finished all his assessments and tasks on the A licence when everyone else participating on the course has not even had the chance.
“The big names get an easy ride while the others have to do it the hard way
