Juventus boss Giuseppe Marotta has talked up his club’s pursuit of Alexis Sanchez and the future of Arsenal target Alvaro Morata, via Ibtimes.
The Juventus boss admitted Alvaro Morata who has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer could leave the club while also failing to rule out a possible move for Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez is reportedly weighing up his future at the Emirates and it is believed that the Serie A giants would try to lure the forward to Turin. Reports in Italy claim the Serie A Champions will try to sign Sanchez should they lose Alvaro Morata this summer.
Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign Morata this summer as Wenger attempts to bolster his squad and Marotta believes there is a high chance of the player leaving Turin this summer.
“We have to meet with Real Madrid but right now they are busy preparing for the final of the Champions League. We’ve postponed the talks until after the final. There is a 50% chance he will stay,” the Juventus chief said to Gianluca DiMarzio.com.
Marotta also talked about the reported interest in Alexis Sanchez, he remained coy on his club’s attempts to sign Chilean international but believes his club has the power to attract the best players in world football.
“It’s a nice to hear that many players like Juventus. The fact of the matter is that now this team is where it has always been regarded to belong historically, now it’s normal that we are very appealing and that many important players would like to arrive at Juventus. Di Natale refused us but those times are long gone. Sanchez? He’s a great player.”
