Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is reportedly eyeing a switch to Turkish giants Besiktas, according to Turkishfootball.com.
The goalkeeper spent the season as back up to Petr Cech and is reportedly eyeing a move away from the club in search of regular playing time.
Besiktas were interested in the goalkeeper last summer but Wenger was unwilling to part company with the Colombian international.
The Turkish giants have now renewed their interest in the goalkeeper again. It is believed that the Turkish club have been able to convince Ospina that a move to Instabul will see him play first team football but it remains to be seen if Wenger would be willing to sanction the Colombia international’s exit.
Besiktas interest in the goalkeeper is strong and reports in Colombia are jumping ahead of queue claiming the goalkeeper is closing in on a move to Turkey. However, it appears that discussions are still at an early stage and a lot still needs to be done concerning the deal.
Ospina has always insisted he will wait until the end of the Copa America before thinking about his future and it will be interesting to know what the goalkeeper has decided.
