This report is according to the Express, they are reporting Arsenal have agreed terms with Hoffenheim’s Antonio Colak.
The Bundesliga striker spent last season on loan in the second tier side Kaiserslautern where he found the back of the net seven times in 25 appearances (and two assists).
His impressive performance has earned him a remark from sporting director Markus Schupp praising his ability in the air and ‘quality’ eye for goal.
“Antonio is a player who brings just the right mentality,” FC Kaiserslautern sporting director, Markus Schupp said back in April.
“He’s a strong-minded player, with a very professional attitude who works a lot on the field for the team and covers large distances.
“He is direct and also strong in the air and has a quality eye for goal.”
The 22-year-old has 1 year left on his contract and it is not certain if his club will be willing to sell but if they can’t get him to sign a new contract they will stand the chance of losing him on a free.
