Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Hoffenheim striker Antonio Colak, according to reports.
Arsene Wenger is preparing for a busy summer as he plans to strengthen his squad considerably. The French tactician is keen to sign a number of first team players this summer and is also looking to sign a number of young talents.
The latest player being linked with the Emirates is Hoffenheim striker Antonio Colak. The striker had an impressive season in German second division side FC Kaiserslautern scoring seven goals in 25 appearances.
According to Football website Socerisma via the Daily Express, Arsenal have been monitoring the striker for some time and have now moved to secure the services of the forward by agreeing personal terms with the player.
However, the club is yet to reach an agreement with Hoffenheim but the source claims the German side might be unwilling to sell the forward. The striker’s contract at Hoffenheim doesn’t expire until 2017 and the German club will be looking to keep the striker for next season.
Arsenal are currently in need of a top striker to challenge Olivier Giroud for the first team spot next season. Colak may not be the Calibre of striker the Gooners are yearning for but the German international is definitely one for the future.
