Arsenal are still interested in Real Madrid midfielder Isco, according to reports.
The Spanish giants are prepared to sell the 24 year old this summer after he became a peripheral figure in the squad.
Isco has fallen behind the likes of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lucas Vazquez and James Rodriguez in Zinedine Zidane’s squad this season and with the France Legend set to continue at the Bernabeu this summer, Isco is open to the idea of leaving the club. Real Madrid are also open to the idea of selling the playmaker and it is believed Arsenal are closely monitoring his situation. According to Tribal football via the Express, Arsenal will even hold talks with the Spanish club to discuss a deal for Isco.
Isco was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates last winter transfer window but the Spanish international opted to fight for his future at the Bernabeu. However, his situation didn’t improve and subsequently lost out of Vicente Del Bosque squad for the Euro Championship.
Italian giants Juventus have also been linked with the playmaker. Despite the club’s willingness to sell, Zidane has revealed he wants to keep Isco next season.
“Isco is a Real Madrid player and he is not leaving,” Zidane said.
