This report is according to the Daily Express, they are reporting Arsenal are closing in on completing their second signing of the summer.
Arsenal are said to be seriously interested in signing Rob Holding, 20, from Bolton as Wenger plans to lure some of the best British talents to the Emirates this summer.
Holding was a subject of £750,000 bid from the Gunners which was swiftly rejected by Bolton and the club chairman Dean Holdsworth claimed afterwards that they are under no pressure to sell the centre-back following their relegation to league one.
But Arsenal still holds a concrete interest in the defender and the Gunners have agreed a £1.5m deal for Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding after seeing an opening £750,000 offer rejected last week.
Holding was one of the few impressive players in what was a disappointing campaign for Bolton and was rewarded with the club’s players player of the year award. His performances is said to have impressed Wenger and the French tactician now sees him as one of the brightest prospects in English football.
