Arsenal have opened talks with Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s camp over a potential summer move football expert Emanuele Giulianelli has revealed. The BVB playmaker has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League with the Emirates touted as his preferred destination.
Wenger is looking to strengthen his attacking midfield options this summer and had identified the midfielder as his priority target. According to the Italian Journalist via Sports Review, Arsenal have now made a move to sign the 27 year old and have held talks with the player’s camp.

It is unknown how far negotiations have gone but it is believed that BVB are resigned to losing the playmaker and that will have given Wenger a huge boost.
Wenger is looking to make a statement of intent this summer and should talks to sign Mkhitaryan progess swiftly, he will join Granit Xhaka as the second player to move to the Emirates from the Bundesliga this summer.
Mkhitaryan scored 11 goals and provided 15 assists in the Bundesliga last season and would definitely boost a side already consisting of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez
