Arsenal target Alvaro Morata has demanded a huge salary package from his next club, according to reports.
The striker is one of the most sought after strikers in the world this summer with as many as three Premier League clubs, PSG and Juventus keen on his services.
Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in the 23 year old and the striker has demanded a £6m a year salary to move to the Emirates.
Wenger is said to be monitoring a host of top strikers should Vardy decline a move to the Emirates and Morata appears to be one of them.
It is believed the striker would cost up north of £30m in transfer fees and according to the Daily Express via Football Talk, his agents have now warned interested clubs that the player would demand at least £6m a year.
Morata is currently with the Spanish senior team in France participating in the Euro 2016 and there are doubts if the striker is worth all that money because the striker couldn’t clock double figures in terms of league goals scored last season as he managed only 8 Serie A goals for Juventus .
However, the player’s potential is not in doubt, he has what it takes to develop into one of the best strikers in the world, it could be worth taking the risk with such huge fees due to the shortage of top strikers in the transfer market.
