Besiktas are interested in signing Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina this summer, according to reports.
The Turkish giants are seriously interested in signing the goalie but are unwilling to meet the Gunners asking price.
According to the Mirror, the Gunners are demanding a transfer fee of £3m for Ospina but Besiktas believe the figure is on the high side.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman has revealed they may have to turn to other targets should Wenger’s men not change their stand. Orman said:
“Arsenal want a lot for him so we may have to look for alternatives.
“I do want Ospina and we are going to get a foreign keeper.”
Ospina is reportedly interested in a move to the Instabul giants and would definitely be unhappy with the state of negotiations between both clubs.
The goalkeeper spent last season as back up to Petr Cech and Besiktas would be able to give him the chance of playing regular football which is what he is after.
Ospina who is currently with the Colombian national team has helped his team to the Semi-Final of the competition showing his quality in the quarter final game against Peru. Ospina has featured in 22 league games for the Gunners since joining the club from Nice in 2014.
