There is no doubt Arsenal are keen on signing a striker this summer after suffering a massive injury blow to England international Danny Welbeck who is out with a knee injury.
Reports in ESPN claim Arsenal have completed their second summer signing and are to unveil Japan international Takuma Asano in few more days.
ESPN cited sources from within the club confirming the deal has been done and the Gunners will unveil Sanfrecce Hiroshima who is highly rated in his home country.
The 21-year-old confirmed Arsenal are interested in signing him this summer and have made contact with him.
“If I am loaned elsewhere, my take on it is that I give it 100 percent,” Asano is quoted as saying by Kyodo News on Thursday.
“I was a little stunned [about the interest]. But I feel like I have the confidence to succeed wherever I go.”
The report further claims Wenger sees him as a bright prospect in the future but he will be sent out on loan.
