Arsenal are set to join Manchester United and Liverpool in the race to sign German international Julian Draxler, according to reports.
Wenger is very keen on strengthening the team this summer with the right wing believed to be a priority and the club have been linked with a number of quality playmakers.
According to France Football via the Daily Star, the Premier League trio along with Juventus are set to battle it out for Draxler’s signature after the Euro 2016. The report claims Wolfsburg could demand as much as £50m for the winger who has impressed for Germany in the ongoing European championship.
Arsenal are long term admirers of Julian Draxler and Wenger recently admitted he is keeping tabs on the winger’s performances at the Euro 2016.
The club has been linked with the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Riyad Mahrez but the former has already completed a move to Manchester United while Leicester City are determined to hold on to the latter leaving Draxler as the only viable option for Wenger.
Draxler joined Wolfsburg from Shalke 04 last summer and was impressive last season scoring 6 goals for the Bundesliga side, hence is being linked with a swift move away from the club.
