Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi reportedly wants to secure a move to the Premier League this summer with Arsenal and Manchester United his preferred destination.
According to Goal, the French midfielder was given the chance to leave the France camp earlier this week in a bid to secure a move to the Premier League.
The report claims the midfielder is likely to leave PSG this summer and he travelled to England on Monday to sort out his future.
According to French Publication Le Parisien via Football Fancast, the midfielder is open to moving to the Emirates this summer. Although the report claimed the player didn’t travel to England on Monday to discuss a move to the Premier League but admitted he could well move to England before the end of the transfer window.
It is understood the arrival of Grzegorz Krychowiak at PSG has pushed Matuidi down the pecking order. It is also claimed PSG is open to the sale of the former St Etienne man this summer.
Currently, there is no official offer for the midfielder but should any of England top clubs make a bid for his services, he would definitely consider their offer.
Arsenal are unlikely to make a move for Matuidi as the club have already secured the services of Granit Xhaka this summer.
